Embedded latest digital technology: Hardware compressed H.264
SBWDVR H.264 compression delivers the highest quality hardware compression with "lip sync" audio at a very reasonable price. H.264 is MPEG4 Part 10/AVC codec that provides high compression, high quality video, best suited for surveillance application. It makes use of block transfers and motion compensated predictive coding. When compared with MPEG2 coding, MPEG4 ( H264 ) uses 1/3 of the bandwidth (1/3 of storage space) to deliver the same quality video. When compared with MPEG4(ASP), MPEG4 (H264) uses 3/5 of the bandwidth ( 3/5 of storage space) to deliver the same quality video. These cards can be mixed and stacked for more channels. One SBWDVR can support of up to 48 video cameras
Models:
SBWDVR-4 4 video + 4 Audio input with real time H.264 compression chips. Can be mixed stacked.
SBWDVR-8 8 video + 8 Audio input with real time H.264 compression chips. Can be mixed stacked.
SBWDVR-16 16 video + 16 Audio input with real time H.264 compression chips. Can be mixed stacked.
Best for building PC based DVR from 4 to 48 video inputs, all video + mono audio channels at 30fps.
SBWDVR-4 supports 4 video + 4 mono-audio channels at 352x240 pixels, recording at 30fps per channel. It can also be configured to support 704x480 pixels by combining two channels of ASIC resources. In that case, you have one channel less.
SBWDVR-4 can therefore support:
* 4 channels at 352x240,
* 1 channel at 704x480 and two channels at 352x240,
* 2 channels at 704x480
SBWDVR-8 supports 8 video + 8 mono audio channels at 352x240 pixels, recording at full 30fps per channel. It can also be configured to support 704x480 pixels by combining two channels of ASIC resources. In that case, you have one channel less.
SBWDVR-8 can therefore support:
* 8 channels at 352x240,
* 1 channel at 704x480 and 6 channels at 352x240,
* 2 channels at 704x480 and 4 channels at 352x240,
* 3 channels at 704x480 and 2 channels at 352x240,
* 4 channels at 704x480
SBWDVR-16 supports 16 video + 16 mono audio channels at 352x240 pixels, recording at full 30fps per channel. It can also be configured to support 704x480 pixels by combining two channels of ASIC resources. In that case, you have one channel less.
SBWDVR-4 can therefore support:
* 16 channels at 352x240,
* 1 channel at 704x480 and 14 channels at 352x240,
* 2 channels at 704x480 and 4 channels at 352x240,
...
...
...
* 6 channels at 704x480 and 2 channels at 352x240,
* 8 channels at 704x480
You can use a mix of above models on a PC to create a 48 channel DVR recording at 1440fps S-VHS quality (352x240 pixels) or a 24 channel DVR recording at 720fps DVD quality (704x480 pixels)! ! !
